Louise Oliver, Director, Piercefield Oliver

Louise Oliver has been in the financial services sector for over 30 years and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and investment. Her company is Piercefield Oliver Financial Planners. She has been a financial commentator on BBC breakfast TV, the BBC news channel and is a regular expert on BBC radio 4 Moneybox. Louise also appeared as an expert for a Panorama programme which delved into the investment advice provided by the major high street banks.

Currently Louise is the acting President of BAWE (The British Association of Women Entrepreneurs), becoming a member in 2004 and subsequently being appointed to the board and then becoming Vice President in 2008. BAWE is about supporting women with experience in business who have their own capital at risk. Louise has been responsible for organising successful events and has made contact with influential and interesting business women as a result of her involvement.

Louise’s passion is working with women going through changes in their lives such as divorce and bereavement by helping them to make informed financial decisions. Most of her clients are referred by existing clients or professional partners such as lawyers and accountants.
