Full membership in BAWE is open to all women who own or control a
company whatever its size. Their own capital and livelihood must be at risk, either as
individuals or in partnerships or as majority stakeholders in companies. Members of BAWE
are encouraged to take an active interest in supporting their fellow members and the aims
of BAWE and FCEM.
Associate membership is open, by invitation, to women who might not
fulfil the above criteria, but who have an interest in women business owners and support
the aims and objectives of BAWE or are in the early stages of creating their own business
and would benefit from involvement in our professional organisation. Apply to the

BAWE is a non-profit organisation with an elected Executive Committee
headed by the elected BAWE President. Membership fees provide for a regular newsletter, a
web site, individual membership of BAWE and the international mother organisation FCEM,
and a small administrative secretariat. Prices for networking events are set to recover
costs. National and International conferences are funded by sponsorship and entrance fees.
